CLJ Contracting Inc., formerly known as CHN Construction LLC (MBE Award in 2007), started operations in 1989 as a General Contractor. With growing demands for our service, In August 2014, we reorganized, relocated, and incorporated our business to better serve our customers. We are members of Better Business Bureau, also, DMBE, SWAM, EVA and VDOT certified.
The Company's primary business objective is to provide general contracting, sub-contracting, project management and construction management support to its clients. We have over 40 years of collective and diverse experience, ranging from residential and commercial renovations, restorations to new construction. We strive to provide progressive solutions and quality to all of our customers.
We are a highly skilled and professional team that applies our broad base of knowledge to every project undertaken, regardless of our contracted role. We are committed to excellence during the entire project, from groundbreaking to completion. We have a proven track record of customer satisfaction.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Cecil H. Nedrick Jr. Graduated with a degree in engineering from Arkansas College of Technology, as well as, attended J. Sergeant Reynolds for continuing education in the field of construction. He has over 25 years of working in the field, where he acquired his knowledge for business management. His diverse background and successful track record of administrative astuteness, communication skills and financial management is the key to maintaining a strong company. He is certified by The State Board of Contractors as a class "A" General Contractor, which qualifies him in the areas of residential, commercial and new construction. Land disturbance and OHSA 30 certified.
Lawrence B. Jones Sr. Has over 20 years of construction experience. He holds master cards in Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC and is OHSA 30 certified. He has worked for two of the largest electrical and mechanical companies in Virginia. He was a driving force in the development, growth and expanding of CU Contracting Inc. and we are pleased to have him as co-owner. His skills and professional work ethics are impeccable. His multitasking talent, affords him the ability to run several work crews simultaneously. A lot has been brought to the table with him, and we are looking forward to a long and prosperous business relationship.
Julia C Nedrick. Has over 25 years of experience in business and marketing management. She owns and operates 4 successful businesses in the Richmond Metro area, and holds several State licenses. She made a career decision to join her Husband in construction 12 years ago, and is hands on in every aspect of the business. She sets high standards for each company, and is adamant in her abilities of keeping impeccable reputations for C L J Contracting Inc. as well.
